Step 1

Set Up Calendar Sharing

Add ReviewBird to your calendar so it can extract appointments from your calendar data and automatically send SMS review requests.

Step 2

Set Up Email Address

Set up a noreply@ or no-reply@ email address via your domain and share it with ReviewBird. This allows ReviewBird to send not only SMS but also email review requests.

Step 3

Install Plugin

Install the ReviewBird WordPress plugin to create your personal review page on your own website, allowing you to use negative reviews as internal feedback. If you do not have a WordPress website, simply set up a subdomain on your main domain and point it to our server via an A-record.

ReviewBird can be configured to forward only positive reviews to the platform. This is known as review gating and violates the Terms of Service (TOS) of many platforms such as Google Business Profile. You can also configure ReviewBird to be fully TOS-compliant. You choose the configuration option yourself.

Step 4

Set Up GDPR

Sign the DPA (Data Processing Agreement) from ReviewBird, and update your privacy policy and opt-in declaration to include the ReviewBird clause. This authorizes ReviewBird to process your data, discloses this in your website’s privacy policy, and continuously obtains active consent from your customers.
